Strolling through the streets and alleyways of old Annecy is like following François de Sales and Jeanne de Chantal through the streets of seventeenth-century "Nessy", where merchants, farmers, craftsmen and housewives mingled.
Follow in the footsteps of François de Sales from street to street, and discover how his intellectual and spiritual prestige left a lasting mark on the town.
The starting point for this historical tour is rue de la Providence - parking Trésum.
It is wheelchair-accessible, provided you don't use the stairs leading up to the Basilica - you can bypass them by the road.
Produced in collaboration with the Diocese of Annecy to mark the four-hundredth anniversary of the death of Saint-François de Sales.
