Exposition "Rémanences - Nous apparaissons dans l'écart"

The invisible is not merely that which escapes perception; it can also be a source of meaning. The mysteries of the sky, the universe, and rituals are all ways to approach the unknown. Storytelling and research allow us to share the invisible—and, above all, to make this world livable. The traces left behind—whether isolated or shared—become a point of appropriation: let us take hold of these traces, these forgotten objects, to find meaning in them. Accepting that we do not know exactly where we are looking, nor what we will find, while remaining open to whatever may emerge. These attempts are acts that seek to hold on to something that is already disappearing. It may be an image, a trace, a sound, a shape, or even an idea. Nothing is entirely stable; everything shifts, everything gradually fades away, and yet we seek to capture it, to prolong it. They say, “We were there,” “We sought this out,” “We shared a common quest.” “Rémanences” explores the poetics of spaces and the narratives that inhabit them. The exhibition invites everyone to explore a territory, to interact with their environment, and to observe its uses, in order to collectively build projects rooted in reality. This expression takes many forms: text, image, sound, installation, or performance. A territory, an encounter, a narrative: this is how the two artists’ research takes shape.
