- Park on the side of the road between Balme and Arâches, below Arberroz, at a hairpin turn with a guardrail on the outside (the first hairpin turn to the left as you climb, after the Balme cliff). Just above the bend, enter the forest.
– For Balmette: An almost level trail quickly leads to the rock.
– For Superbalmette: Take the trail (marked in red) that climbs to the left as soon as you enter the woods. There is a fixed rope just before the cliff.
