This is the first summit to the North of the Fiz mountain range. Very much off the beaten track, the approach is dotted with rocks and limestone slabs and you may well come across entire herds of chamois

The first summit in the north of the Fizz range, the Pointe de Sales seems inaccessible when seen from the Giffre valley. However, from the Sales refuge, access to this rocky promontory does not present any particular difficulty. Be aware! This site is inside a nature reserve. Please comply with the regulations.
