A guided tour of Le Grand-Bornand takes visitors on a journey through the various themes of the village, to understand how a mountain village was organized before the 20th century.

Le Grand-Bornand is a commune in the Haute-Savoie region of France. Founded at the end of the medieval period, it developed around agropastoral activities until the 19th century. From the mid-20th century onwards, the village diversified its economy with winter tourism and skiing. The tour begins with a general introduction to the village's geographical location. Students are then guided through the streets of Le Grand-Bornand, gradually discovering the history of the village and its evolution over the centuries. Group leaders remain responsible for their group throughout the visit. Depending on the number of participants, the class is divided into two groups. Don't forget to dress warmly, as it's always chilly in the Maison du Patrimoine.
