Description
Opening reception for the exhibition “Cluses, a City in Celebration, 1900–1990” as part of European Heritage Days.
Reception hosted by the Passion Patrimoine de Cluses Association.
The year 2026 marks the 200th anniversary of photography. This is one of the two themes of Heritage Days; the other is “Heritage in Danger.” The exhibition, which showcases the festivals in Cluses, explores both of these topics. Photography is an integral part of our heritage; it is rich in history and lessons, but it is a heritage at risk if we do not take steps to preserve it.
Here is an example, through the theme of festivals in Cluses, of what has been preserved by the intermunicipal archives department.
