Description

Tré la Tête mountain refuge dominates the Contamines Valley and boasts beautiful panoramic views. The refuge also marks the departure point of high mountain routes for mountaineers.
Camping is strictly prohibited between June 15 and September 15 throughout the Contamines-Montjoie Nature Reserve, below 2500m altitude (except in official bivouac areas requiring reservation). Swimming is prohibited for hikers and pets year-round in all lakes and bodies of water within the nature reserve.
