The essential Tour des Fiz family tour with 1 night's accommodation in a refuge
Day 1: Plaine-Joux - Platé - Sales
Depart from Passy Plaine-Joux and climb to the Platé refuge. Then on to the Sales refuge via the Col de la Portette. Overnight stay at the Sales refuge.

Day 2: Sales - Anterne- Pormenaz - Lac Vert - Plaine-Joux
On the second day, return to Plaine-Joux via the Alfred Wills hut, Lac d'Anterne and the Col d'Anterne. The Plaine-Joux resort can then be reached via the Argentières trail, the Chorde trail (with ladders) or the 4×4 trail. The Argentières and Chorde trails take you close to Lac de Pormenaz.

In winter, access to the Tour des Fiz is not recommended (high-level ski mountaineering only).
