Built in 1674, this charming stone bridge was the only way to cross the Arve River between Bonneville and Sallanches until 1850, when the Pont Neuf was built.

An inscription carved in stone lists the architect's name, the date the bridge was built, and the date of its first restoration. It is listed on the register of Historic Monuments. The old access road to the town of Nancy-sur-Cluses starts at the bridge; it has been closed to traffic since the construction of the highway.
