Built in 1674, this pretty bridge made of stone was the onlly way to cross the Arve river between Bonneville and Sallanche until 1850, year when the New Bridge (Pont Neuf) was built.
A writing in the stone mentions the name of the architect, the year it was built, and the year of the 1sr refurbishment.
It is listed historical monument.
The old road to Nancy-sur-Cluses starts from this bridge but its is nowadays cut by the highway.
