Located in the center of the hamlet of La Frasse, this small chapel was built in 1686 thanks to the generosity of five traveling merchants, and was later rebuilt in the mid-19th century in the Neo-Gothic style, as evidenced by its vaults.

The interior, beautifully decorated and very colorful, houses the chapel’s old bell—now cracked—one of the first bells cast at the famous Paccard foundry in 1823. Three dates can be seen on the front wall of the Chapel of La Frasse (1686 – 1861 – 1977). This chapel was built in 1686, thanks to the generosity of five merchants from the Violland family, all of whom had become citizens of Brisach in Alsace. It was restored in the Neo-Gothic style in 1861 under the leadership of Canon Poncet, a native of Nancy-sur-Cluses. Its most recent restoration took place in 1977.
