With a powerful, rich, and expressive voice and poetic music infused with vibrant pop elements, Emily Loizeau is a leading figure among a generation of artists who celebrate French chanson with equal measures of generosity and integrity.
Emily Loizeau will treat the audience at the Parvis des Fiz to a solo piano concert to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iconic album
*L’Autre bout du monde*, and she is sure to touch our hearts with an ethereal rendition of her most poignant compositions.
"Twenty years since the release of *L’Autre Bout du Monde*. Twenty years of writing songs, searching for the next piece of the puzzle. Twenty years of taking trains and traveling the roads to share it with you.
It’s all a bit crazy! The more time has passed, the more the image of the puzzle has sought to say something about the world—about how its turmoil affects my soul, our souls—and to express what binds us together and gives meaning to being alive. In the fall of 2026, once the tour at La Souterraine is over and we’ve celebrated this anniversary at the Théâtre de la Ville with my band and my friends, I’ll hit the road on my own with my bare, slightly out-of-this-world piano to revisit a few tracks from these six albums. I can’t wait to share this celebratory interlude with you! I picture us together, joyful and standing tall, with our heads in the stars. I know already that my heart will be filled with a sweet and joyful melancholy."
