This charming loop takes you through the Mayères forest, winding between woodland, clearings and sections alongside the stream. Keep your eyes peeled along the way: tracks and signs left by wildlife offer a glimpse of some of the more elusive inhabitants of our forests.
The route then leads to the hamlet of Déramey, at a crossroads of mountain paths. Its pretty mountain chalets overlook Sallanches and offer remarkable views across to the Mont Blanc range. Take the time to enjoy this privileged setting before continuing along the loop.
A slightly longer outing than the Boucle des Combes, ideal for extending your discovery of the snow-covered forest, with the added reward of exploring the hamlet of Déramey and enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.
