Description
A winter adventure in the Aravis range, staying in a cosy mountain hut!
Access to the refuge is for good skiers (level of ungroomed red piste for the descent and good physical condition for the ascent). You need to have already done some intermediate ski touring (800m D+) and know how to do conversions. You may need to put on crampons to cross the Col de l’Oulettaz if you’re travelling via the Col des Annes.
Emergency equipment provided (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) but ski equipment not provided. Pack a rucksack, water, snacks, a picnic lunch on the first day depending on the itinerary, otherwise you can eat at the hut if it is guarded, helmet, sunglasses and sun cream, ski touring clothes and warm clothing.
