Sions Loop - Snowshoe Trail

The trail begins in the forest on a somewhat steep but short slope, then heads south on level ground. The view is magnificent, as you’re facing the Mont Blanc range. The descent follows a fairly natural trail toward some old chalets. For those who want an even easier route, simply head toward the Balcon des Sions (up to the fork, before the trail descends toward the area known as Les Boeufs) and then retrace your steps. A map is available at the tourist office to help you explore this trail and other routes. Guided snowshoe excursions: During these excursions, a mountain guide will accompany you and lead you safely through the forests and along the ridges. These fun and easy themed excursions are tailored to the participants’ skill levels. They’ll help you get to know our natural environment better. You can satisfy your curiosity by asking your guide questions. You’ll see just how different the landscape looks from the heights of Cordon. Group or private snowshoe tours are available.
