Following this arrival—full of mischief and magic—Santa’s chalet officially opens its doors at the Col de Merdassier. Children can explore this specially decorated holiday setting and step into Santa’s wonderful world amidst the snowy landscapes of Manigod. It is a must-do event to start the Christmas holidays in a warm, magical atmosphere. Write to Santa from the Col de Merdassier As soon as the chalet opens, a special Santa mailbox will be set up for children to drop off their letters. It is the perfect opportunity to take the time to write to Santa—or drop off your mail—right from the mountains. Whether it’s short notes, drawings, gift lists, or messages filled with dreams, all letters can be posted in the chalet’s mailbox. So, remember to get your mail ready before you come! Santa Arrives in Manigod on December 24th The long-awaited moment is drawing near... On December 24th, Santa will arrive at the Col de Merdassier chalet. To reach the chalet, he will ski down the Blanchot run, making a spectacular entrance in the heart of the Manigod ski area. It’s a unique and magical way to see Santa in his element: mountains, snow, and ski slopes! Everyone—young and old—is invited to watch his arrival and share this special moment with the whole family. A Photo Session with Santa After arriving via the Blanchot run, Santa will take the time to meet children at the chalet.
