An 80-square-meter vacation rental located on the ground floor of a former Savoyard farmhouse, renovated in a beautiful chalet style. The property is located near an authentic mountain hamlet on the road to the Col de la Colombière, at the foot of the Aravis Mountains. An ideal location for mountain lovers seeking authenticity and hiking or biking adventures. The farmhouse also includes two other owner-occupied units, each with its own private entrance. Separate entrance on the ground floor via a few outdoor steps: entryway with storage, built-in kitchenette open to the living room (wood-burning stove, sofa, TV), bedroom 1 (1 bed, 160x200cm), bedroom 2 (2 sets of 2 bunk beds, 90x190cm each), bathroom (walk-in shower), toilet, laundry room/pantry. For your comfort, sheets are provided (beds made upon your arrival). Wi-Fi. The cottage features a beautiful west-facing terrace, part of which is covered: double set of patio furniture, reading nook, lounge chair, and barbecue. The village center of Le Reposoir is 800m away: grocery store, bread shop, and restaurant. All shops in Scionzier, 9 km away (15 minutes by car). Winter skiing at the village’s small, family-friendly resort, 1 km away. For more experienced skiers, the slopes at Chalet-Neuf are 5 km away. The Col de la Colombière is 8 km away (Route des Grandes Alpes, connecting to Le Grand-Bornand in summer): the owners can rent electric bikes to you. Numerous hiking trails are available year-round at the Col de la Colombière and in the Bargy mountain range. Chartreuse du Reposoir is 1 km away. Annecy and Chamonix are about a 50-minute drive away. Be sure to bring snow gear in winter (access to the cottage is via a flat, drivable path for 200 meters).
