The church, with its imposing spire, stands at an altitude of 712 m. In the 11th and 12th centuries, it was under the control of the abbeys of Cluny and Saint Victor (Geneva). Sardinian neoclassical style.
Looking out from 14 communes (bordering or not) towards the Voirons mountains, you can see the silhouette of the Lucinges bell tower. This is the oldest part of the church. The church was then moved to the other side of the steeple to clear a square marking the site of the former Château de Lucinges. During this work, the bell tower spire, built in 1736, was renovated. This operation was repeated a few years ago. Two years ago, the nave was given a facelift. In the neo-Gothic style, the chandeliers have been reworked, the rostrum removed and brand-new furnishings installed, with a touch of modernism that blends in well with the parish's place of worship.
