The Oex Chapel, the oldest chapel in the town, is dedicated to Saint Bernard of Menthon. It is a rural chapel built in 1680 and expanded in 1842.

The remarkable small altar from 1679, which adorns the apse and was created by Claude François Gradel, reflects the Baroque influence of the period. The architecture is characteristic: a gabled roof with a steep hip, an openwork bell turret with pillars and a small dome, a rectangular floor plan, and a flat apse. Other chapels in Magland are in the same style. The bell was cast in 1826 in Paris and financed by residents of the hamlet who had emigrated to the French capital.
