After exploring the small village of Romme, you’ll head toward the Vormy mountain pasture, where you can sample local cheeses. Then, you’ll continue your hike through the mountain pastures, ending the day in the village of Reposoir.

The hike begins in the picturesque village of Romme, where nature and mountain traditions come together. The trail leads you to the Vormy alpine pasture, where you can sample local cheeses while taking in the scenery. You’ll then cross magnificent expanses of alpine pastures, dotted with breathtaking views of the neighboring peaks. The village of Le Reposoir, with its tranquility and authenticity, welcomes you at the end of the day. Don’t miss a visit to Le Carmel and Lake Carmel, a place steeped in serenity. The first stage ends at the “La Chartreuse” hotel and restaurant. Further information on localisation

Head to the Col de Romme, a small hamlet in Nancy-sur-Cluses. Once you reach the pass, drive through the village and park in the lot next to the pond and the bus shelter.
