The Boucle du Pont des Nants, mountain bike route no. 28, is a varied route combining forest trails and tarmac roads. Ideal for discovering the village of Cordon and its hills!
This loop is available for mountain bikes, ATVs and bikes with bicycles.
Mountain bike trail No. 28, the Pont des Nants Loop, is ideal for exploring the village of Cordon: Starting from the village center, you’ll head up one of the hillsides before descending back down to the lower part of the village and exploring the Jorasse Forest. In the Jorasse Forest, you’ll enjoy nature, its riches, and its picturesque spots, including our famous Pont des Nants.
Accessible to mountain bikers, it combines moderate technical difficulty with the joy of riding in the heart of the mountains.
For the more athletic riders, starting from Les Plaines, the route can be extended all the way to the Avenaz mountain pasture.
Please note: depending on the type of bike you have, the duration of the loop will vary:
- For a mountain bike, the loop will take 1 hour and 30 minutes
- For an e-MTB (electric-assist mountain bike), the loop will take 1 hour
- On an e-bike (hybrid bike with electric assist), the loop will take 1 hour and 15 minutes
Update as of June 3, 2026: Roadwork on the forest road toward Les Plaines is scheduled to continue through Friday, July 3. This road will therefore be closed during the construction. To access your route, you can take the Chemin de Cornillon, both uphill and downhill. Contact Cordon Tourisme for more information.
