Starting from the Col de la Croix Fry, this easy hike takes you to the Pointe de Beauregard, a natural viewpoint offering exceptional panoramic views of the Aravis range, the Mont Blanc massif, La Tournette and the surrounding mountains.
The trail winds through spruce forests, mountain pastures and the remarkable Beauregard Plateau, designated a Natura 2000 site for its rich biodiversity.
As you walk, take the time to observe the mountain flora and, if you’re quiet enough, the iconic wildlife of the Aravis. The mountain pastures you pass through are still in use during the summer: please respect the herds, close the gates behind you and stay on the marked paths to help preserve this sensitive natural environment.
A round-trip hike, ideal for enjoying a 360° view of the Aravis landscapes, whilst discovering one of Manigod’s most iconic natural areas.
Please note that this route does not offer much shade in summer. Make sure you bring a cap, sunglasses, sun cream and water bottles.
