Plume the Bearded Vulture's Egg - Orienteering Course

Objective of the game: Using your game booklet and a map, you’ll set off through the village of Le Reposoir in search of markers that provide clues about the disappearance of the egg. At each marker, children must punch a small card and bring it back to the tourist office. How to play: Visit our tourist information offices in Le Reposoir, Cluses, Mont-Saxonnex, and Romme to pick up your game booklet. The route: The trail begins across from the Le Reposoir tourist office. You must find the checkpoints in the order listed in the booklet. The route is not difficult. Much of it is along the road, so it can get hot in the summer. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes. Location: Le Reposoir is located in the mid-mountain region, a 15-minute drive from Cluses. Things to do and see in the village: In the village, you’ll find a playground, a soccer field (the Tourist Office will lend you a ball upon request), and other hiking trails. Several farms offer guided tours. Feel free to stop by our tourist information office for more details. Food and Drink: You can have a picnic in the shade near the Chapel of Blessed John of Spain or on the grass next to the church. For those who love the sun, there are picnic tables in the village and near the Tourist Office. If needed, the grocery store at the entrance to the village sells food and drinks. The La Chartreuse hotel-restaurant offers a children’s menu, high chairs, and a changing table. You can also enjoy a drink or a homemade ice cream on the terrace. Finding Shade: Shade is available throughout the park thanks to the trees. Shaded picnic tables where you can recharge are located throughout the village. Parking: Plenty of spaces are available in the church square and in the RV parking lot. Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the RV parking lot, about 300 m from the Reposoir Tourist Information Office. Families: No reservation required. Children's groups and school groups: Reservations required.
