Up there, on the mountain. A shepherd has built his cabin, a little haven of peace and solitude. When, after a long absence, he finds it damaged by rain, wind, snow, or something else, he sets to work repairing it, unaware that a mischievous presence is watching his every move, mimicking him, and making fun of him… A curious, mischievous bear. He asks the shepherd to play along and follow his rhythm as he dances. But the bear doesn’t stay. After a few pirouettes, he heads back into the forest… In the vividly illustrated world created by artist Aurélien Débat, a singer-musician and a dancer tell this poetic and delightful story of the relationship between man and wild animal—not with words, but through music, songs, and movement.
