Description
The City of Cluses is launching a photo contest open to everyone in celebration of European Heritage Days, inviting residents to take a fresh look at their community. The contest is open to everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
This photo contest, titled “Clusian Heritage as Seen by Its Residents,” will run throughout the summer until September 20, 2026.
Architecture, industrial heritage, landscapes, traditions, cuisine, craftsmanship… All perspectives are welcome to highlight the richness of Cluses’ heritage. Take your photos with a camera or simply your smartphone.
The contest aims to highlight the richness of local heritage, including architecture, industrial heritage, landscapes, traditions, gastronomy, and local expertise. Participants may use a camera or a smartphone. Photos can be shared on Facebook or Instagram by tagging @cluses.officiel and @clusesarveetmontagnestourisme. To confirm their entry, participants must submit up to three photos on September 19 and 20 at the City’s booth at the Miam Festival.
There are many prizes to be won, including an instant camera, tickets to shows, concerts, and movies. A special “Then and Now” prize will be awarded to a photograph comparing a historical view and a contemporary view of the same location. The best entries will be exhibited at the Cluses Media Library.
This contest is part of the European Heritage Days program, taking place on September 19, 20, and 21, 2026, which will feature lectures, tours, exhibitions, and activities centered on heritage.
