A map, checkpoints, and Combloux as your playground! Set off on a self-guided tour to explore the village, punch your leaflet, and answer questions that reveal its history and heritage.
➡️ In a nutshell
What if you discovered Combloux in a different way?
Map in hand, set off independently to find the checkpoints along the orienteering trail. At each stop, punch your leaflet, discover something about Combloux’s heritage and answer a question. There is a children’s booklet with easier questions and an adults’ booklet with slightly more challenging ones.
➡️ What you’ll do
Here, orienteering is also a great way to explore the village and its history.
It is up to you to choose your route between the different checkpoints. Once you have found a checkpoint, use the red punch attached to it to mark the corresponding box on your leaflet.
Then take a moment to read the heritage information provided and answer the question. The answers can be found at the bottom of the leaflet, so you can check your discoveries as you make your way around the trail.
➡️ Who is it for?
For anyone who would like to combine a walk, an orienteering game and the discovery of Combloux’s heritage.
The trail is completed freely and independently: everyone can choose their own route between the different checkpoints and adapt the itinerary to their abilities.
To make the game accessible to everyone, the activity booklet is available in both an adult and a children’s version, with questions adapted to the participant’s age.
➡️ How does it work?
Before setting off, stop by the Combloux Tourist Office to pick up the map and trail leaflet free of charge.
Then:
1. locate your first checkpoint on the map;
2. choose your route to reach it;
3. find the checkpoint and punch your leaflet using the red punch;
4. discover the heritage information provided;
5. answer the question before continuing to the next checkpoint.
The trail is freely accessible. The map can be collected during the Tourist Office’s opening hours.
➡️ The little extra
You are not simply looking for checkpoints: each one becomes an opportunity to learn more about Combloux.
