Mountain animals often know how to keep a low profile. Yet their presence is revealed through a multitude of traces left in their wake. Accompanied by the team at the Château des Rubins, set off to discover these clues and learn how to interpret them in a fun way.

Through observation and identification games, discover how to identify footprints, recognise calls and spot other clues left by wildlife. A fun way to gain a better understanding of our mountains’ inhabitants and sharpen your eyes for your next hikes.

An activity suitable for families and children aged 4 and over, as well as anyone with a curiosity about nature who wants to learn more about mountain wildlife.

Through a range of activities, participants observe, handle and play to learn how to recognise the main signs that animals have been in the area. The activity alternates between discoveries, discussions and fun challenges in a friendly atmosphere.
