Construction of this chapel began in 1739, at the initiative of the residents of Chessin. Seized during the French Revolution, it was repurchased by those same residents in 1835.

But it was demolished in 1939 to widen the local road, and then rebuilt during World War II. A pretty bell tower made of tin scales crowns it. Inside, a collection of polychrome wooden statues, beautifully crafted in the Baroque style, has been preserved.
