The Gravin Chapel was built in 1689 by the residents of the village. While all the chapels in Magland were served by the parish clergy, the Gravin Chapel had its own chaplain.

A privilege that would endure until the French Revolution. A lovely copper-clad bulbous bell tower and a richly ornate and colorful altarpiece are testaments to its Baroque style. The crucified Christ is a wooden sculpture signed by Jean Ravinet, a former turner from Maglanchard, who created it in 1952 at the age of 75.
