Description
It once controlled access to the village from the Porte de Rovorée. They were closed at night and lined with a portcullis whose passage can still be seen in the stones.
To defend the village, the entrance was surmounted by a tower, still well preserved today. The tower, measuring 5m by 6m, was equipped with loopholes and hoardings. A bridge crossed the moat.
