7:00 p.m.: Indawa - Soul Jazz Folk
A singer-songwriter, INDAWA has created a world where love, gentleness, and compassion reign, somewhere between our world and the spiritual realm. To reconnect with souls that have ascended—such as that of her mother, to whom the show is dedicated—to comfort the lost souls of this troubled world, and to try to bring us all together. Accompanied by her delicately resonant guitar, her warm voice, and Olivier on various percussion instruments, the artist weaves a celestial folk/soul-jazz soundscape, with an authenticity that rings true and a sincerity that leaves no room for doubt.
8:15 p.m.: The Doug - Rap and Singer-Songwriter
The Doug is the cheeky cry of a child of our time. As beautiful as it is desperate, as violent as it is affectionate, as dark as it is luminous, as selfish as it is generous.
To heal his wounds, soothe his sorrows, and sketch out the grand dreams of a generation, The Doug has chosen a bare-bones guitar to craft a rap that twirls around the French chanson tradition, where one can catch glimpses here and there of a young Bashung, or the early days of Fauve or Feu! Chatterton. Following a critically acclaimed debut album, The Doug returns with his new single “Leader Price,” plunging us into the raw, unfiltered memories of adolescence—a mix of aimlessness, carefree spirit, and disillusionment.
