7:00 p.m.: Past Imperfect - Pop rock This is the story of five passionate musician friends who come together to live out a dream come true: playing and recording at a legendary venue—Real World Studios in England, founded by Peter Gabriel himself! The result is an EP and a series of inspired compositions. The band is Franco-British and hails from the local Haute-Savoie music scene 8:15 PM: Bongi - Afro Pop Rock Originally from Cape Town and now based in Marseille, Bongi bridges two continents in a unique way, blending urban folk and Afro pop in a burst of vocals and energy that breathe new life into the musical traditions of Southern Africa. Her songs in Xhosa—her native tongue and the language of Nelson Mandela—resonate vividly and trace a pan-African musical arc that is both magnetic and spellbinding, carried by a versatile voice punctuated by bursts of brilliance. In this momentum, Nassim Slimani’s electric guitars and Dimitri Reverchon’s powerful rhythms create an organic backdrop, interwoven with electronic sounds and trance-like beats.
