The Museum of Animated Film offers an in-depth exploration of this multifaceted and ever-evolving art form.

It highlights the wealth of techniques, the diversity of styles and the uniqueness of the worlds that have shaped and promoted animation in all its forms across the globe. As part of the Cité internationale du cinéma d’animation, the museum is fully aligned with the City’s strategy to assert its status as the world capital of animation. It features a permanent exhibition designed by the Annecy Museums team. The project draws on the City of Annecy’s exceptional ‘Musée de France’ collection.
