In her modern patchwork pieces, Madame Fougère explores the soul of the mountains.

This fall of 2026, the team at Espace Jacquem’Arts is delighted to welcome the designer Madame Fougère, who lives and works in Passy, at the foot of the great Alpine peaks. Through her work, fabrics take on a new life. Repaired, dyed, and assembled, they come together in compositions that blend artisanal craftsmanship, poetry, and a sense of high-altitude grandeur. Madame Fougère creates a language inspired by the landscapes that surround her: the majesty of Mont Blanc, the “Verte,” the Aiguilles d’Arves, and the light of the Alpine lakes… With joy and delicacy, the seamstress blurs the lines between craftsmanship and contemporary art. Each piece of fabric bears the traces of a past story, intertwines with another story, and gives rise to beauty.
