A lovely stroll in mountain with a professional guide with a Abondance cheese tasting and a torchlight descent.
A roughly two-hour round-trip hike led by a mid-mountain guide. We’ll stop at the entrance to an old slate mine—slate was once used for roofing—where you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Montriond, stretching all the way to Roc d’Enfer.
Requirements:
Ages 12 and up.
Bring your own picnic.
Attire: Warm clothing recommended. Hiking shoes required.
In case of unfavorable weather, the event may be postponed or canceled.
The organizer reserves the right to remove the torches for the return trip if conditions are unfavorable (e.g., drought).
Registration opens on the Friday before the hike.
