Description
Presentation of Bruno Dupety’s book, *Le Regard des Peintres*, as part of the ‘Ice and Glaciers’ exhibition. A talk, book signing and drinks hosted by the local council, focusing on art and the high mountains.
As part of the exhibition “Ice and Glaciers: The Human Imprint” presented by the Musée de la Pente, the commune is pleased to welcome Bruno Dupety for a lecture followed by a book signing session around his latest publication released by Éditions du Mont-Blanc: Mont-Blanc: The Painters’ Perspective.
Through this richly illustrated book, the author explores the fascination that Mont Blanc has held for artists for centuries. Traveling painters, Romantic artists, and mountaineers have each captured, in their own way, the light, the landscapes, and the symbolic power of the massif. This event will offer an opportunity to connect perspectives between art history and the high mountains, echoing the themes of the exhibition.
The lecture will take place on July 16 starting at 5:45 pm and will be followed by a discussion and book signing session. A complimentary drink will be offered by the commune to extend this convivial moment.
