Description
The village's traditional festival and patron saint's day celebration. The festivities begin with a high mass at 9:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day until the fondue dinner starting at 7:00 p.m.
Schedule of events:
- High Mass at 9:30 a.m.
- Drill and parade by the Grenadiers with "La batterie fanfare de Combloux" around 11:00 a.m.
- Exhibition by the Heritage Association, themed “Cordon on Display,” featuring paintings, lithographs, vintage postcards, drawings, and more depicting Cordon
- Games for all ages: inflatable games, wooden games, and a multisport arena all day long
- Stand selling pastries and Rissoles (a famous local pastry) all day long
- Light snacks (assorted platters or hot dogs and fries) at 12:00 PM
- Folk dances and music by Cordon’s folk group “Lou Benneton”
- Grenadiers parade at 2:45 p.m.
- Fondue served in the evening or platters starting at 7:00 p.m. (purchase tickets on-site starting at 6:00 p.m.—€20 with dessert—no table reservations required), followed by a dance party
