Magic Megève

Magic Megève is a former alpine farm that has been transformed into a living work of art, where art, winemaking, and the art of living come together. The main building is a late 18th-century alpine farm, restored along with its annex and original mazot. Rather than simply hanging artworks on the walls, the founder invited the artists from her collection to take ownership of the architecture: each artist came to the site, chose their location, and created their installation with their own hands. An entire living room was designed from scratch; a bedroom was conceived as a tribute; a staircase was built on site after months of planning; and a series of rooms were painted directly onto the walls. Sculpture, photography, ceramics, design, and artist-made editions then fill every room, right down to the light switches, floors, and ceilings. Some works remain deliberately invisible: you can’t find them, and that’s by design. EXCLUSIVE. The house is rented as a whole, accommodating 20 people, with a panoramic living room, dining room, bar, wine cellar, movie theater, gym, wellness area (retractable pool, steam room, sauna, cryotherapy, light therapy cabin), and an outdoor art trail through the forest. Guests move about in slippers: several works are displayed on the ground. EVENTS. Private dinners, receptions, celebrations, seminars, and corporate gatherings, product launches, film shoots, and cultural projects. The wine cellar, dining room, living room, and movie theater are suitable for both intimate gatherings and larger events, and the entire house can be reserved for the duration of the event. ART TOURS. The collection is open to visitors. A guided tour leads from one room to the next, narrated by the founder herself, and is further explored in the publications of Archivorum✕M, the association that publishes a book with each artist who has contributed to the house.
