Somaye Pakar, painter
Somaye Pakar is of Iranian origin and studied visual arts in Tehran.
“Part of my art is inspired by my past and my culture. I express my emotions and inner struggles through my drawings and my glass art, a technique I’ve developed myself. The fragility of glass reflects the fragility of life, but also that of women in societies that demand more care and attention.
The second series is inspired by the beauty I’ve discovered while living in this magnificent region of the Mont Blanc area. ”
Somaye Pakar will be at the media library on Saturday, August 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to discuss her artistic work.
Nathalie Petit, drawings
Self-taught and passionate about drawing, Nathalie Petit has chosen to use charcoal, graphite, and black chalk to depict exclusively authentic and intense faces.
Farah Bouchet, gouache paintings “The Hidden Faces of Humanity”
For me, painting is a way to express what I feel. Through my paintings, I share the emotions, colors, and ideas that flow through me. Each work represents a moment, a thought, or a sensation.
Gérard Zambaz, watercolors
An amateur painter who loves to let colors wander across his canvas
