Description
An innovative 12-hour trail in which each person creates his or her own race: freely link up different routes to accumulate points, solo or in relays, in an exceptional natural setting facing Mont Blanc.
La Douze – Mont-Blanc Passy is a unique trail running event that breaks with traditional running conventions. Here, there’s no set distance: each participant creates their own challenge over 12 hours, freely combining multiple courses of varying distances and difficulty levels.
Open to everyone, from beginner runners to experienced trail runners, the event offers different loop formats (short to long, with progressive elevation gain) that can be combined according to your preferences, current fitness level, or race strategy.
The goal is simple: cover as much distance as possible within the allotted time, earning points based on kilometers covered, elevation gain, and bonus challenges scattered along the routes. Be mindful of time management, however: any minute beyond the 12-hour mark results in penalties.
The event can be run solo or as a relay (teams of 2 to 4 people), fostering a spirit of camaraderie and strategy. Everyone is free to alternate between exertion, recovery, and socializing in the race village.
Held in Passy Plaine-Joux, facing the Mont Blanc massif, La Douze offers a unique immersion in nature, amid forests, alpine meadows, and exceptional panoramic views. The event is designed to be both athletic and festive, with a friendly atmosphere and a group closing ceremony bringing all participants together.
