Description
Thanks to the Samoëns Handi-Glisse association , you too can enjoy the thrill of ice skating, on a sledge specially designed for use by disabled people on an ice rink.
The Association's aim is to purchase sports equipment for disabled people and make it available to them free of charge.
We can provide an ice sledge so that the whole family can go ice skating or a disabled person can enjoy time on the ice with friends or even play ice hockey.
The equipment is great fun and easy to manoeuvre. If you can use a manual wheelchair, you can use this on your own. Or you can ask one of your friends or family to push you by holding onto the rod along the back of the sledge.
We also have ski equipment and all-terrain chairs so that the disabled can discover (or rediscover) every aspect of the mountains.
