Description
As they melted, the glaciers of the Quaternary era left this large rock formation at the foot of the Foron, giving the town its name.
Climbing to the top of this 13th-century tower offers a magnificent panorama that reveals its secrets via two orientation tables—a fantastic view preserved and maintained thanks to the intervention of the Capuchin friars in the late 19th century.
After the climb, you can enjoy the refreshment and crêpe stand run by Tourist Office volunteers.
