It's the village fête in Samoëns, and to mark the occasion we're organizing a guinguette evening. Participating restaurateurs will be offering guinguette menus.
Shopkeepers will be holding a fair and opening at night for the start of their braderie.
The "guinguette" atmosphere will be in full swing on the Place du Gros Limeul, with red and white checkered tablecloths, garlands of light bulbs, a stage and dance floor set up so that locals and holidaymakers alike can get together to enjoy a meal specially designed by participating restaurateurs.
It's also an opportunity to celebrate the launch of the Samoëns shopkeepers' braderie.
During the day and the rest of the weekend, you can take advantage of the shopkeepers' braderie, and in the evening, the stores will open at night, and you can also enjoy the games at the shopkeepers' Kermesse.
As you stroll through the village, you'll be able to choose the guinguette menu that most appeals to you from participating restaurateurs:

As well as all the restaurants that usually offer take-away food (La Canette, Le Frahan, Le Mazot...).
After the meal, a popular dance is organized on the square, so that everyone can enjoy the festivities.
To make sure you don't end up thirsty, the tourist office will be holding a refreshment bar with local beers in the square.
