Our mediator offers you an interactive tour with mime, exchanges and also handling of models for the older ones, in the heart of the old Abbey of Abondance. Discover the many artistic treasures of the site, sacred art objects, wall paintings... History, architecture but also monastic life are all themes that fit perfectly with the programme. For secondary schools, medieval society and the constitution of a seigneury are also presented. Duration: 1h30 for cycles 2 and 3 - 2h for middle schools Reservations required.

Access

From the shores of Lake Geneva, access via the Gavot plateau, heading towards the Abondance valley (approx. 40 mins).

The entrance to the site is located at Place de l’Abbatiale, accessible from the village centre via the Passage des Chanoines.

Separate access to the church (no visits during services).
