Description
The 62nd Tour of the Aosta Valley will take place from Thursday, July 16, to Sunday, July 19, 2026, and Passy will host the first time trial stage.
This first stage marks the return of a mountain time trial.
The last cronoscalata in the Tour du Val d'Aoste took place in 2018, at Pré Saint-Gervais, and... Jonas Vingegaard won it.
Although it was already scheduled for last year, it was canceled following the death of Samuele Privitera. The organizers have decided “to dedicate the Fair Play Award to his memory.”
The winner of the 2.2U race will succeed Jarno Widar.
