Objective of the game: Using your game booklet, you’ll set out through the town of Cluses in search of hidden clues that will lead you to the thief. How to play: The detective’s investigation notebook is available for purchase at the Museum of Watchmaking and Machining. Grab a pencil and set off through Cluses in search of clues scattered throughout the town. Write down the clues you find to track down the thief. The Route: The route begins at the Museum of Watchmaking and Machining. As you turn the pages of the investigation notebook, you’ll be led to various locations in the town center. The route is easy to follow. Be careful—it can get very hot in town during the summer. A treasure hunt with a 1920s-style detective story twist. Location: Cluses is located in a valley between the towns of Sallanches and Bonneville. Things to Do and See in Cluses: Visit the Museum of Watchmaking and Bar Turning, located on the floor above the Tourist Office at 100 Place du 11 Novembre. Take a refreshing stroll along the Arve River or set out to discover the town’s notable heritage sites along the “Au Fil du Patrimoine” walking tour. Food and Drink: Cluses offers many bars and restaurants in the town center, several of which serve fast food. Finding shade: The game takes place in town. A few sections offer some shade. Parking: You’ll find a metered parking area (2 hours maximum) in front of the Cluses Tourist Office where you can pick up your booklet. Restrooms: There are no restrooms along the route. The nearest public restrooms are located at the Cluses train station.
