Description
The Dranse de Morzine fishing stretch, located upstream of the Jotty dam, offers a variety of fishing opportunities, from spin fishing to fly fishing. It is home to a healthy population of native trout, some of which exceed 50 cm in length.
The Dranse de Morzine river is home to one of the finest populations of native trout in the department. The luckiest anglers can hope to catch fish exceeding 50 cm. However, finesse and discretion are essential to catch these wary fish. In order to preserve the native stock, restocking is carried out using fish from wild broodstock in the river, which are genetically selected and bred at the Pont de Gys fish farm.
Very difficult fishing conditions.
