Snow, whether ephemeral or eternal, fascinates as much as it inspires. Found on every continent, it shapes our landscapes, our lives and our imaginations. Photographers, too, let themselves be guided by its light, contrasts and fragility.
Photographing in the cold means embracing the challenges, the silence, and the slow pace. It means seeking the perfect perspective, the beauty of a frozen moment. Since 2010, the Images & Neige Festival has celebrated this convergence of art, nature, and the mountains.
For this year’s edition, we are very pleased to announce our guest of honor: Neil Villard—Photography. Once again, the festival will celebrate photography, the great outdoors, the bitter cold, extreme environments, and the people who capture them in images.
