Equipped with snowshoes, pulkas (sleds), and an expedition tipi complete with a wood-burning stove, participants of all ages leave their daily routine behind to experience a first adventure in the wild—a blend of reality and imagination. ➡️ Where it takes place The expedition unfolds amidst the snowy landscapes surrounding Megève, in an area selected by the guide based on current conditions. The exact meeting point is communicated via SMS or WhatsApp the day before the activity. ➡️ Activity highlights Far more than just a snowshoe hike, this experience immerses you in the world of great expeditions across Siberia, Alaska, or the Yukon. On the agenda: - snowshoeing while hauling pulkas; - scouting the perfect spot to set up camp; - pitching the expedition tipi; - gathering firewood; - managing the fire; - preparing the meal; - games and workshops focused on wilderness living; - and a few imaginary encounters with the famous "polar bears"! ➡️ What to expect Like a genuine small community of explorers, you will work together to set up camp and handle the various tasks required for your day in the wild. Everyone pitches in: hauling gear, pitching the tipi, gathering wood, tending the fire, preparing food, or even heading out on a symbolic "hunt."
