A first snowshoeing outing designed for the whole family! Follow animal tracks, observe the mountain landscape in winter, spot chamois through a spotting scope, and listen to local stories and legends.

➡️ The experience in a nutshell Strap on your snowshoes and set out to discover the winter mountains through the eyes of a child! "Les Petits Lapons" (The Little Lapps) is an introductory outing designed specifically for families. Accompanied by a guide who is attentive to the youngest participants, you will make your way gently through the snow, spotting animal tracks and wildlife while listening to local stories and legends. ➡️ Where it takes place The outing takes you on a journey to discover the snow-covered mountains and their inhabitants, following a route perfectly suited to a first snowshoeing experience. ➡️ Activity highlights Here, the hike becomes an opportunity to observe, search, listen, and understand the world around us. As you walk, keep your eyes peeled for tracks in the snow to discover which animals have passed by. With the help of a spotting scope, you might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of chamois! Stories and legends round out this fun-filled mountain discovery. ➡️ What to expect You don’t need to be an avid hiker to embark on this adventure. The outing is designed as a family-friendly introduction, with special attention paid to the children's pace and curiosity. We stop to examine a footprint, scan the mountainside for wildlife, and listen to a story... It’s a wonderful way to share time outdoors as a family while uncovering the little secrets of winter. ➡️ The extra touch Guides who know how to engage with children and take an interest in their unique perspective of the mountains. Instead of just walking, young participants become true little nature observers. ➡️ Who is it for? For families with children aged 6 and up—especially those wishing to try snowshoeing via an accessible outing focused on interactive activities and observation. The trip runs with a minimum of 5 registered participants. ➡️ When can you enjoy this activity? An outing to experience in winter—a chance for the whole family to discover the snow-covered mountains.
